"SMAPIT understood our product like an internal team. The animation made our appliance feel premium and launch-ready."
We model your product to spec, then place it in lit, art-directed scenes. Every reflection, material and shadow gets solved in the render rather than staged on a set.

The 3d product visualization questions we get.
Real cost, timeline and process questions from brand teams shortlisting SMAPIT for 3d product visualization. Answered with the numbers and workflow we actually deliver against.
- 01
How much does 3D product visualization cost per product?
Per-product 3D visualization typically runs $200 to $1,500 depending on complexity, plus a small per-render cost after that. A hard-surface product like a bottle, appliance or gadget usually sits in the $200 to $600 band. Articulated or highly detailed products with textiles, translucent finishes or moving parts run higher. Once the master model exists, every subsequent still, angle, colourway or lifestyle scene renders from the same file for a fraction of that. Amazon A+ modules, Shopify hero images and paid ad heroes all come off the same asset.
- 02
How long does a 3D visualization take from CAD to final asset?
A hero visualization ships in 5 to 10 working days from CAD or reference. Modeling and material work sits at 3 to 5 days, lighting and camera at 1 to 2 days, revisions at 2 to 3 days. Complex articulated products or fully lit lifestyle scenes add a week. When we start from photos or reference only, without CAD, reference-gathering adds 2 to 3 days on the front.
- 03
Can one 3D master 3D file feed website, Amazon, ads and AR?
Yes, and that is exactly why one accurate master pays back within the first campaign cycle. The same 3D file exports as hero renders for Amazon and Shopify, as ad variants for Meta and TikTok through our AI Creative Engine, as GLB or USDZ for a Shopify 3D viewer or Amazon 3D badge, and as reference frames for an FOOH campaign. Every downstream use starts from the same 3D model, so a colourway swap in the master ripples to every asset with a re-render.
- 04
What files do you need from us to start (CAD, dielines, samples)?
CAD, dielines, spec sheets, reference photos or a physical sample. Any one of those is enough to start. Production CAD (STEP, IGES, OBJ) gives us the fastest start, though we usually rebuild it lightly because manufacturing files carry internal detail a camera never sees. Dielines or spec drawings work when there is no CAD yet. Photo reference plus dimensions works when the product is on the market but source files are not shareable. NDAs are signed before any files are shared.

How is 3D visualization different from 3D rendering?
Visualization is the whole scene: shape, materials, lighting, environment, camera and mood. Rendering is the act of turning that scene into a final image. In practice SMAPIT delivers both together, because a great render is only as good as the scene behind it. A 3D visualization project ships a lit, art-directed scene that can be re-rendered from any angle. A pure rendering project takes an existing 3D scene and produces final images from it. Buyers looking for true-to-life product content usually want the first.

Primary delivery is mesh-based (STEP, OBJ, FBX, GLB, USDZ). Gaussian Splatting is available on request for reference and cinematic use cases, though it does not yet slot cleanly into most ecommerce or ad-manager workflows.
